Good day, good people! This is the day that the Lord has made; never forget that. Regardless of what you face in the morning, afternoon, or evening, this day to you and me is a gift, so let’s cherish it.
“Well, I am not a liar,” he said.
“But you hate your brother and sister, and you claim to love God,” she replied.
“Have you seen God?” she asked.
“No,” he answered.
“So how is it that you love the one whom you have not seen and hate those whom you do see? The worst part is that those you hate are the image of the one whom you claim to love. How is that possible?” she asked.
“Am I really a liar?” he inquired.
1 John 4:20 (NIV): “Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen.”
I don’t know if I have done enough justice to discussing with us about truly not hating our brothers and sisters. Kudos to those who are not filled with hate, but you also need to consume this daily bread because, as long as you live among human beings, you will be offended, and hate is always seeking an opportunity to enter. Loving is not as easy as we think; it’s work, so let us continue this work.
Takeaway: How does it feel to live in love? Remember, God is love, and you live in Him, and He lives in you. How do you share this with those who don’t know how it feels?
Prayer: Abba, Father, we thank you in Jesus’ name, Ameni!
