Good day, good people! This is the day that the Lord has made; never forget that. Regardless of what you face in the morning, afternoon, or evening, this day to you and me is a gift, so let’s cherish it.
I don’t know if this has ever happened to you, and mind you, this is just one of many examples that have occurred with people. I have had the privilege of encountering our brothers on the street and conversing with them, and on many occasions, I found it very shocking, and what has left me in wonder is that I see them thanking God for life and all that God has done. I think to myself that they still have many needs, especially since you are asking me to help you cover one of those many needs. Today, the Holy Spirit took me back to one of the well-known scriptures:
Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV): “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Please be alert that while we are reading the scriptures, some people are living them. One thing to note here is that after presenting your requests, what you receive immediately is not the answer to your prayers, but “the peace of God.” So what my brothers in the street have found is that which has guarded their hearts and minds, and that is why they have never committed suicide, nor have some of them sworn and turned away from God, because the peace of God that needs no understanding is on guard.
Takeaway: It’s not easy to go through a day with those needs, but let the peace of God be your companion, for it will help you deal with all the wild thoughts and anything that wants to arise in your hearts
Prayer: Abba, Father, we thank you in Jesus’ name, Ameni!
Hallelujah 🙏
