How You Answer Matters

Good day, good people! This is the day that the Lord has made; never forget that. Regardless of what you face in the morning, afternoon, or evening, this day to you and me is a gift, so let’s cherish it.

You cannot go around speaking anyhow just because you have freedom of speech. Sadly, some people have found themselves in bad situations because of their answers. Avoid angering people whenever you get a chance. And one way to do so is to watch your mouth.

Proverbs 15:1 (ESV): “A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.”

“Well, you can’t tell me what to say; I will say what I want to,” he said. But then a harsh word stirs up anger (it causes anger to be more intense), and you don’t want to be ignorant. And “an angry person stirs up conflict,…”(Proverbs 29:22).

It doesn’t cost a dime to give a soft (gentle) answer. So what’s hindering you?

Prayer: Abba, Father, we thank you in Jesus’ name, Ameni!

  1. Thank you very much Mr. Chan for this word. We as believer tend to forget the basic instruction from the word of God and we spiritualized or associate certain behavior and character to a things that are not. The word of God has the answer to it all, God knows His children so well that’s why even in the small details He left instruction… Mind your answer breathen
